
The Berlin office was opened in 1997. The partnership thereby continued its tradition of being in close geographical proximity to the institutions of the German Federal Government, which began with the founding of the partnership in Bonn. With 21 attorneys, the Berlin office is the partnership’s second-largest.
The office’s key practice areas are constituted by administrative law and constitutional law, and specialist areas such as environmental law, regulatory law and sector-specific competition law, public procurement law, tax law and the law governing publicly-owned assets. In terms of civil law, the Berlin office advises inter alia on corporate law and the law governing intellectual property, media and culture, as well as on construction and property law.
