Born in Wuppertal in 1942. Studied law in Cologne, Bonn and Bochum. 1966 first State examination, 1972 second State examination. 1977 doctoral degree with Prof Dr Götz, Göttingen.
Joined the firm in 1972.

Advising and defending the interests of private clients and companies in connection with municipal urban land‑use planning, urban planning and projects, approvals procedures governed by building law, in administrative procedures relating to monument protection law and monument listing issues, in procedures involving the drafting of landscape plans, flood protection planning and the designation of water conservation areas.
