Career

Born in Unna, Westphalia in 1954. Studied law in Bochum. 1980 first State examination, 1984 second State examination. Research assistant at the Universities of Bochum and Münster (Kommunalwissenschaftliches Institut, Prof Dr Erichsen). Afterwards lawyer in Hagen, Westphalia.

Joined the firm in 1985. Admitted to the Cologne Court of Appeals until 2002.

Practice

Labour and social law (casualty endurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance: panel physician law, artists social insurance, status proceedings (SGB Ⅳ and Ⅵ)), civil environmental law, litigation.

Member of the preliminary examination committee “Fachanwalt für Sozialrecht” of the Cologne Bar Association.

Advice and representation of companies in respect of their contribution to statutory accident insurance (SGB Ⅶ), advice and representation of companies and individual clients in pension insurance law, in particular in respect of exemption from compulsory pension insurance, building of the NRW Chamber of Engineers and pension scheme of the NRW Chamber of Architects, conduct of appeal proceedings and proceedings of constitutional complaints with social‑​law implications.
