Frank Fellenberg acts as expert at hearing in the German Bundestag on the Federal Immission Control Act

Berlin, 20 September 2023. The German Bundestag's Committee for the Environment has invited Dr Frank Fellenberg to discuss environmental law issues in an expert capacity. On 20 September 2023, the Committee will be addressing the Federal Government's draft bill to improve climate protection in the area of immission control, speed up immission control licensing procedures and transpose EU law. The main aim of the draft bill is to fast‑​track immission control licensing procedures.

Dr Frank Fellenberg, LL.M. (Cambridge) is a specialist lawyer for administrative law and partner at the law firm Redeker Sellner Dahs. He advises and acts as counsel for companies and public authorities nationwide on environmental and planning law issues. Dr Frank Fellenberg has been invited by parliamentary committees to provide expert advice on many occasions; he is a member inter alia of the Environmental Law Committee of the German Bar Association (DAV) and the board of the Society for Environmental Law (Gesellschaft für Umweltrecht e. V.) as well as co‑​editor of the Neue Zeitschrift für Verwaltungsrecht (NVwZ) and the jurisprudence journal Klima und Recht (KlimR).
