Advising and representing public sector and private companies in State aid and EU regulatory law before national authorities and the EU Commission, with particular expertise in the energy sector and decarbonization‑related matters. Advising and representing the H2Global project to promote the market ramp‑up of green hydrogen (funding volume EUR 3.5bn, SA.108511). Advising and representing the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety on measures for the rewetting of agricultural and forestry peatlands and for supporting agricultural and forestry use of rewetted peatland areas (funding volume EUR 1.3bn, SA.118115). Advising and representing the Federal Ministry of Transport on the eSAF funding scheme to promote the market ramp‑up of renewable aviation fuel (funding volume of up to EUR 2bn). Advising and representing the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on the design of a capacity mechanism. Providing energy regulatory advice on the EU legal framework for renewable energy and renewable fuels, including Commission Delegated Regulations (EU) 2023/1184 and 2023/1185. Contributing to development cooperation projects, including with partners in Africa and the Americas.
