Studied law in Würzburg and Dublin. 1996 first State examination, 1998 second State examination. 1997 Academy of International Law The Hague. 1998‐2002 Lecturer for European law at the Academy for Administration of Berlin. 2000 doctoral degree with Prof Dr Blumenwitz, Würzburg. Since 2000 lawyer in Berlin and Brussels.

Anti‑trust action seeking damages from the lorry cartel, the air cargo cartell, the sugar cartell and the lottery cartell. Acting as counsel for ARTE in anti‑trust proceedings against the cable network operator before various German regional courts, higher regional courts, and before the German Federal Court of Justice. EU state aid proceedings to save and restructure SachsenLB, WestLB and BayernLB. Providing legal advice to various Federal ministries on state aid, e. g. for aid projects in the areas education and research. Extensive litigation practice before Union courts (i. e. T‑745/17, T‑210/15, T‑27/11, T‑22/11, T‑457/09, T‑2/08, C‑ 681/16). Numerous merger control procedures for public and private undertakings.
