Clients/Experience

Numerous proceedings before the Competition Chambers of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court, the German Federal Court of Justice and various civil courts, involving antitrust violations in the lottery sector. Providing advice to international undertakings on the legal aspects of competition and merger control in a transactional context (speciality chemicals, automobile part supplies, etc.).

Representing Fluxx AG in proceedings relating to the abuse of a dominant position; representing ARD in proceedings before the Federal Cartel Office in connection with the Springer/Pro7Sat1 merger; representing the German Federal Government before the ECJ in the TollCollect merger control proceedings; acting in the case involving the Federal Cartel Office’s first application of the bonus regulation; a follow‐on complaint under antitrust law before the Dortmund Regional Court; E.ON; the Rockwood Group; ongoing provision of advice to the financial group Sachsen‐Finanzgruppe on antitrust and merger control matters.
