Studied law at the University of Bonn and the University of Uppsala, Sweden. first state examination in 2004, second state examination in 2009. Traineeships at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) and the German‑​Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok. 2004 to 2006 doctorate at the University of Bochum.

Joined the firm in 2009.

Advising and representing clients in the partnership‑​based implementation of major transport infrastructure and procurement projects of Deutsche Bahn: DB InfraGO AG on the new and upgraded Karlsruhe‑​Basel line, general refurbishment of the high‑​performance Riedbahn corridor; tunnel and bridge construction and refurbishment projects, including Rastatt tunnel, Fehmarnsund bridge, Hamburg Elbe crossings; multi‑​year adjudication process during the construction of a new electronic interlocking system (ESTW); advice on the ETCS train control and safety system; drafting contracts for the development, construction and approval of a new ICE fleet (HGV 3.0). Legal advice during construction and claim management for a major project in the energy sector (plant construction). Expert support and legal representation in dismantling and pollutant remediation projects.
