Born 1984 in Halle (Saale). Studied law in Passau, Sydney and at the Humboldt University in Berlin, sponsored by the German National Academic Foundation. First state examination in 2010, followed by research assistant at the German Bundestag, in a major Berlin law firm in the area of litigation and in a copyright boutique. 2011 to 2012 part‑time Master's degree in Medicine, Ethics, Law at the Martin Luther University Halle‑Wittenberg. Subsequently, research assistant at the University of Basel in a project on innovative treatment methods funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. 2013 to 2017 scientific coordinator of the interdisciplinary Cologne Center for Ethics, Rights, Economics, and Social Sciences of Health (ceres) at the University of Cologne under the direction of Prof. Dr. Christiane Woopen. 2019 doctorate in medical law at the chair of Prof. Dr. Christian Katzenmeier and second state examination. Internships at the Federal Joint Committee and an internationally active health law boutique. Most recently, consultant at the German Medical Association.
