Career

Studied law in Freiburg and Heidelberg. Passed the first state examination in 2014 and the second in 2018. 2014–2016: Research assistant at the Chair of Public Law, International Law, and Human Rights at the University of Göttingen. 2016–2018: Legal traineeship, including placements at the Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission. Practiced antitrust law at a commercial law firm in Stuttgart from 2019 to 2020. 2021: Earned a Ph.D. under Prof. Dr. Seibert‑Fohr in Göttingen.

2021: Joined the law firm.

Practice

German and European competition law, merger control, European law.

ESG, compliance, circular economy law, supply chain law, and related intellectual property law and corporate law, research and development cooperation.

Member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht.

Advising companies on horizontal cooperation and distribution partnerships; advising and representing national and international companies, as well as public entities, in antitrust damages proceedings and German and European merger control matters; Advising companies, particularly joint ventures, on antitrust compliance; developing compliance programs and conducting in‑house training; representing companies in administrative and fine proceedings before antitrust authorities.

Advising on the legal framework for sustainable products, producer responsibility, the ESPR, the Digital Product Passport, and related regulations; advising companies and the public sector on robust compliance and implementation strategies for European requirements; preparing expert opinions at the intersection of legislation, products, and businesses.
