Bonn, 5 May 2026. The Redeker Sellner Dahs law firm is further enhancing its career model for employed lawyers while at the same time boosting starting salaries to € 100,000 per year.
The upgraded career model sets out clearcut career stages, transparent development pathways while spelling out a structured expertise profile. The aim and objective is to provide lawyers dependable guidance for their professional development at the firm.
New entrants to the profession continue to start off as Associates, after three years reaching the next career and salary level containing a bonus component along with the status of Senior Associate. Three years further along, they are able to advance to Counsel. The firm is creating this position as a long‑term career stage alongside partnership.
A key element in the career model is the expertise profile. Redeker is using this to set benchmarks in the areas of client practice and teamwork as well as internal and external engagement. Internal training programmes underpin individual development.
“With our refined career model, we are creating well‑defined and transparent prospects for our lawyers,” comments Sabine Wildfeuer, member of the Management Committee and co‑head of the Human Resources department.
Dr Udo Söns, the other co‑head of Human Resources on the Management Committee, adds: “We want to foster talent in a targeted manner while nurturing individual strengths. The expertise profile offers clear guidance to this end.”
